I have a shuttle; it’s a mini computer of sorts. Got it through a friend (no guarantee) was running well. 3.2
Pentium 4, 2 gig of ram, ok graphics card and all that. But in the last 6 months it has been a bit of a pain, in
that the sound stutters and the computer seems to slow down + It also freezes, this can happen at any time when the
computer is on, from every day or once a week. The only thing that helped was to reduce the amount of usb's
connected, this seemed to stop most of the freezing.
I have re-installed windows xp from scratch with similar problems.
I have run a maintenance program. I have called someone out to diagnose the problem, but he only really understood
the software side and not so much the hardware.
The only thing that made a difference with the freezing was using less usb connections.
If any one knows of any hardware diagnostic software or has had similar trouble or even a solution please could you
let me know?
