NO sound in C:SS STILL

I've been at this now for a good 4 hours and have not been able to hear any of the sounds. I setup the whole config into the right folders i setup the script and the autoexec launch option that is in mygames/C:SS and still the balck box comes on and says the current sound but i dont hear a thing when i press insert.

No need to refer me to http://www.intheholecs.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=5026#5026 i have read it over many times and have set it up to whats written there. I dunno on the verge of givin up, is there any hero out there who can show me the way to makin this work??

i did the same thing that krepsky did but i cant get it to work either..
